Devorah Sperber@B'klyn Museum


Did anyone happen to see the Devorah Sperber sculptures at the B'klyn Museum last Friday? They weren't part of the Global Feminisms show, but were on the 2nd floor. And they look pretty incredible! She uses thousands of spools much like pixels to create an image visible through a magnifying lens.

    I actually saw that piece at the Merorial Art Museum in Rochester at a group show called "Extreme Materials". It really stood out as an impressive work.
