http://www.brooklynmuseum.org/exhibitions/sperber/

Did anyone happen to see the Devorah Sperber sculptures at the B'klyn Museum last Friday? They weren't part of the Global Feminisms show, but were on the 2nd floor. And they look pretty incredible! She uses thousands of spools much like pixels to create an image visible through a magnifying lens.

Matta-Clark show

oh yeah, and after all the art fairs this weekend i went back to the whitney and saw a Gordon Matta-Clark show. i thought it would be all documentation of his architectural works, but it was much more. i really enjoyed the exibit, and i think it was worth paying the 10 dollars (again) to go see.

i saw this movie over the summer and meant to mention it when we saw the kiki smith. it's a little dull, but certainly gets you into the minds of these two ladies. The movie is called Agnes Martin:with my back to the world with Kiki Smith: Squatting the palace.
